Double Zero (00) Willamette Valley Former Winemaker Meets Simon Colin from Burgundy to launch their new co-owned winery
Oregon may be famous for Pinot Noir, but let’s be honest, Burgundy drinkers have never truly taken Oregon Pinot all that seriously (but what do they know right...I kid... or do I? Chardonnay, however, is where the conversation shifts. When done right, Oregon Chardonnay is not only legitimate, it’s increasingly impossible to ignore.
Walter Scott kicked the door wide open, proving the Willamette Valley could deliver world-class, mineral-driven Chardonnay with real pedigree. Seth Morgen Long then took that momentum and refined it further, carving out a style that’s more chiseled, more reductive, and frankly, next-level.
Now enters Perry Colin, and this is where things get genuinely interesting. This new project brings together Matt Perry, former winemaker at 00 Wines from Willamette Valley, OR, and Simon Colin, whose Burgundy résumé includes Etienne Sauzet in Puligny-Montrachet and his family’s Domaine in Chassagne-Montrachet. Launched in spring 2024, Perry Colin is a Chardonnay-focused winery in the Willamette Valley, farmed organically and biodynamically, with a clear point of view and zero interest in compromise.
The 2024 vintage marks their debut. We are not just tasting the inaugural vintage, we are pouring the opening argument. Last week was the first time they offered their wines for sale. They nearly sold out in one day. Good thing for us and our guests, we requested our allocation in advance, securing very limited but solid inventory for the dinner (I would say we are good but sometimes luck leads the way). We will start with the Willamette Valley Perry Colin white Burgundy wines, made by the Braintrust of Simon Colin and Matt Perry, and then Domaine Simon Colin Pinot Noir Santenay (arguably the steal of red burgundy) to close out the night! Not only is this another first of its kind but we are so excited to bring these to you so early in their journey!

Doamine Henri Boillot
We are hosting a very limited, collector-level dinner featuring wines from Henri Boillot.
Quite simply, we brought Henri Boillot wines to Arizona because they are among the very best in the market today, and arguably the strongest quality-to-price ratio at the highest level of white Burgundy. For decades, critics have been emphatic:
“Blown away by the precision and intensity.”
“A thrilling, complete wine.”
"Reference-point Puligny and Meursault.”
“Explosively mineral, layered, and extraordinarily persistent.”
“Among the finest examples of the appellation.”
If you are not yet comfortable with Burgundy but want to get your feet wet, without expectations, just enjoyment and eye-popping excellence, this is the night for you. Multiple top cuvées consistently reach the 95–97+ point range (which is nearly impossible for Burgundy), praised for combining density and extract with cut, energy, and crystalline detail. In serious company, these wines stand shoulder to shoulder with the most coveted white Burgundies in the Côte de Beaune, bottles that command five-figure prices, delivering comparable structure, gravitas, and longevity without speculative pricing.
The Boillot family’s roots date back generations assembling prized holdings across Batard-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay, and Pommard along with purchase contracts that give rights to the Boillot's to farm themselves names such as Montrachet, Chambetin, Bonnes Mares & Corton Charlemagne just to name a few. They even own two Monopole vineyards that have been in discussions for Grand Cru promotions. Today, alongside his son Guillaume, the estate continues to refine a style defined by precision, restraint, and power without excess.
Anhelo will curate a progression designed to let the wines unfold naturally, tension, depth, texture, and length. This will be a small group to ensure proper pours and thoughtful discussion.
As always these dinners are done at cost, Firm commitment is appreciated as bottles are allocated and divided evenly.
